Blooket is a fun way to review or practice knowledge that can also engage students. However, there are some limitations to using this platform in the classroom that teachers should keep in mind. These limitations include the ability to edit the questions and answers that are provided in a set, limiting the number of players per game session, and not being able to customize the length of time for gameplay.

In order to access a Blooket game, students or players must first log in to their Blooket account and then click the blue “Play” button located in the top left corner of the screen. This will open a new window that asks players to enter a code. Depending on the game mode, this code can be either a five or six-digit number. The player must then click the right-pointing arrow button next to the Game ID button in order to proceed with the quiz.

The Blooket platform allows teachers to create games with a variety of question sets, which can then be assigned to their class. Once the game has been assigned, a unique code is generated that the students can then use to join the game. The games can then be played in a variety of different modes, including Tower Defense, Cafe, Factory, and more. Students who answer questions correctly can earn tokens that they can use to dress up their Blooks, or the virtual characters that they play as.

Another way that Blooket can be used in the classroom is by assigning a review game as homework. When a teacher hosts a game, they can Blooket codes  choose whether they want the game to end after a certain amount of time or when a specific student reaches a certain total. This can be a great way to differentiate learning for different types of learners, or to allow students who need more time to work on their skills.

Teachers can also add a set to their Class Dashboard to track the progress of each student in a class, and they can export the results of each game to a PDF or CSV file. This can be useful for monitoring classwide progress and seeing who is performing better than others, as well as for creating report cards.

Blooket offers a variety of features that make it ideal for classrooms, and the fact that it is easy to set up and use allows students to take advantage of this learning tool from any location, even when they are not in the same room as their peers. The variety of games offered also makes it an excellent way to keep students engaged in learning, and teachers can easily check on student progress at any time.
